nLIR SPEKTRUM + Avantes Bundle

The nLIR bundle combines the SPEKTRUM Wavelength Converter with a VIS/NIR spectrometer to enable real-time mid-infrared (MIR) spectral measurements for non-invasive characterization of gases, liquids, solids, and light sources. The system is based on upconversion, in which MIR radiation is converted to the visible or near-infrared range, enabling detection with standard silicon-based spectrometers.

The wavelength conversion is handled optically, and the system is connected via fiber without additional alignment or external components. This enables a direct integration path for MIR spectroscopy using established VIS/NIR detection platforms while maintaining high acquisition speed and sensitivity. The SPEKTRUM converter can also be combined with an existing VIS/NIR spectrometer, allowing integration into current measurement setups without replacing detection hardware.
