SWIR InGaAs
Imaging the SWIR spectral range from 800 nm-1.7um is covered by InGaAs focal plane arrays. These differ from CCD or CMOS sensors in both material and architecture.
A focal plane array is a 2-dimensional photodiode array comprising of a substrate with an InGaAs absorption layer bump bonded to a readout integrated circuit or ROIC. Each of these bump bonds constitutes the effective pixel.
We offer both scientific-grade cameras from Teledyne Princeton Instruments and unique logarithmic cameras from New Imaging Technologies.
