Specialised Imaging
Specialised Imaging develops ultra-high-speed cameras for demanding test and research applications.
The Aurora delivers video-style operation at up to 20 million images per second, with exposure times down to 25 ns.
Built around patented μCMOS BSI sensor technology, Aurora combines extreme speed with practical triggering, synchronisation, and Gigabit Ethernet control. It is well suited to Digital Image Correlation, high-speed materials testing, crack propagation studies, detonics, fuel spray analysis, and other demanding transient-event measurements.
At the highest end of the range, the SIMX / SIMD platforms provide framing-camera performance for experiments where only the fastest imaging will do. Also available are Multi-Head High-Speed Framing Cameras, Flight Follower Trackers, and specialised lighting from X-rays to lasers.
Through its partnership with Image Systems, Delta Photonics can also support the TrackEye and TEMA software suite for motion analysis in 2D, 3D, and 6D, including advanced Digital Image Correlation workflows for non-contact full-field deformation, strain, and motion analysis.
