FLIR A40 Compact Thermal Smart Sensor
The FLIR A40 is a compact, fixed-mount thermal smart sensor for automated condition monitoring, process control, and early fault detection. It combines a 320 × 240 uncooled microbolometer with onboard measurement and alarm functions, visible imaging, and industrial communication protocols, allowing thermal events to be analyzed and acted on directly at the camera.
- 320 × 240 infrared resolution with 25 µm detector pitch
- 7.5 to 14 µm spectral range and thermal sensitivity below 35 mK
- 30 Hz image frequency and temperature ranges up to 1000 °C
- Accuracy of ±2 °C or ±2% under specified operating conditions
- Available with 29°, 51°, or 95° fields of view
- Supports EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, MQTT, REST API, RTSP, and additional industrial protocols
- IP66 aluminum housing for fixed industrial installation
