Edinburgh Instruments RMS1000 Multimodal Confocal Raman Microscope
The RMS1000 is an open-architecture confocal Raman microscope designed for Raman, photoluminescence, fluorescence lifetime, phosphorescence lifetime, and nonlinear optical imaging. Its modular platform supports up to five internal lasers, external excitation sources, dual spectrographs, and as many as four detectors, allowing the optical configuration to be adapted as measurement requirements evolve.
- Spectral range from 5 to 30,000 cm⁻¹ and wavelength coverage from 200 to 2200 nm
- Spectral resolution below 0.1 cm⁻¹, configuration dependent
- Lateral spatial resolution down to 0.25 µm and axial resolution below 1 µm
- Up to five computer-controlled internal lasers and additional external laser ports
- Detector options include cooled CCD, EMCCD, InGaAs, and photon-counting detectors
- Supports Raman, PL, FLIM, PLIM, SHG, multiphoton imaging, and antibunching measurements
