Sensor – NSC1601

NSC1601 is NIT’s VGA-format SWIR InGaAs sensor, with 640 × 512 active pixels, 15 µm square pitch, and high QE from 900 nm to 1.7 µm. Its defining feature is the dual-response architecture: logarithmic mode for 120 dB HDR without illumination saturation, and linear CTIA mode with dual gain, CDS, and low read-out noise for sensitivity-driven imaging. For OEM teams, this is the core technology behind several NIT camera platforms and the right starting point when detector-level design flexibility matters.

Key advantages:

  • 640 × 512 active pixels at 15 µm pitch
  • High QE from 900 nm to 1.7 µm
  • Dual-response architecture with 120 dB HDR logarithmic mode and linear high-sensitivity mode
